Street Photography from 1975 – 1979. After my studies in Italy in 1975, I went back alone to Europe and traveled from Scotland to London, Amsterdam to Stockholm eventually arriving again in Florence and Rome. It was fast becoming a reality that I was too tall to be a street photographer, always looking down on people. And as a result too obvious so I resorted to shooting with a 24mm lens so people had no idea I was shooting them. I shot in Manhattan and we drove through the southern American States in a pickup truck where I learned that it is very easy to turn the corner or off the highway at the wrong spot. My street photography days were numbered.
